When I first started photographing weddings, the marketing advice I got was to focus on a particular niche. Whether it was to be boho, classic, dark and moody, light and airy, gay or lesbian, the list goes on. I was to choose one particular genre and try and attract ‘those’ type of couples.

As my style started to develop into what it is now I quickly realised how superficial and limiting these labels are. There is so much more to weddings than any label can convey.

So I ask one small favour. Forget what you think wedding photography should look like when viewing these galleries below. Instead, tune in to the feeling my images evoke. And above all, enjoy.
