Katie + Josh’s Braeside Estate Wedding on the Gold Coast

Katie and Josh’s Braeside Estate wedding was elegant, romantic and a tonne of fun. And they were definitely not late. As they told me in their pre wedding questionnaire:

“We met through friends at Wednesday night social touch footy at uni. Our first date was a breakfast date – it was the first and only time Katie has been late (fashionably!).

They also have a really sweet proposal story which seemed very fitting for the time of year they got married:

“We got engaged in Christmas Day 2022 – It was just Josh, Katie and Bailey (our dog) and Josh popped the question under the Christmas tree.”

Every time I go to Braeside Estate I’m amazed at the transformation of this venue. There are so many spots that are perfect for photos at Braeside, but it’s the pavilion that blows me away. The pavilion really is a class unto its own and is an absolute dream to photograph in.
