Tahnee and Phil’s Byron View Farm wedding was definitely one for the books. It was great timing for me photographing this wedding. I had just come out of a two day intensive photography workshop and was the seeing the potential for light in new and different ways. Upon arriving at Tahnee’s house to capture her getting ready I could immediately tell she was someone with a vision. Her house was very design orientated. I embraced the harsh light and angles the light had to offer. The result you can see below.
Byron View Farm Wedding Photography
One of things Tahnee mentioned when she booked me was that she wanted lots of candid photos of her boys throughout her and Phil’s wedding photos. So few months before Tahnee and Phil’s wedding I did a little family photo shoot for them. It’s a good thing I photographed their family prior to the day wedding, it gave me a little in sight what to expect.
About 10 minutes into Tahnee and Phil’s family photo shoot their two boys made a beeline for the ocean and were straight in the water. Of course I embraced the moment/chaos and somewhat precariously captured them in their element jumping around in the water.
One of my favourite moments I captured from Tahnee and Phil’s Byron View Farm wedding was of Jaxson poking Phil’s mum with a lightsaber from across the wedding aisle, mid ceremony. There were plenty more beautiful family photos captured, too many to share here.
I am convinced that Tahnee’s bridesmaids had the nicest bridal dresses out of any bridal party I’ve seen to date. The colour palette and textures were simply divine. The dresses were from Rooh Collective and are definitely worth taking a bit of inspo from.
