My first Gabbinar Homestead wedding was all kinds of crazy good! In fact, Emma & Jordan’s wedding shindig was everything a good wedding should be (in my not so humble opinion). It was moment rich, party filled, absolutely stunning and ridiculously fun.

As a venue, Gabbinbar holds an almost mythical status. The reception area for one is stun…ning (yes, I did that on purpose). It’s grounds are immaculate. As a vendor you get treated like royalty. And to top it off, with its massive fig trees, cottages that offer stunning Rembrandt light, it’s like a playground for photographers. My mate and fellow photographer even told me there is a slightly cultish exclusive Gabbinbar brides group. I’ll take that one with a grain of salt, but I think you get my drift. Gabbinbar is simply next level.
What’s more, I got to work with a great mate of mine, Ellen from Honeybee Celebrancy, who is also a really good mate of Emma and Jordan. Hence Ellen getting a little teary when Emma walked down the aisle (you’ll see). In fact, it was Ellen that hooked me up with this wedding (thanks Ellen, glad I didn’t stuff up your friend’s wedding)!
But in all seriousness, it really was an honour to photograph at this exceptional venue. Emma and Jordan were absolute legends to hang out with and I couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out.
So, this brings me to my next point. Can someone else pretty please book me again for this amazing wedding venue? I’m hanging to come back.
