Stacey + Grant’s Family Orientated Tipi Wedding

Stacey and Grant’s wedding took place on their beautiful property in the stunning hinterland town of Tumbulgum. Having big plans to pack up and travel Australia as a family, their wedding doubled up as a big send off to their family home which they recently sold.

Anyone who has followed my work for some time will know that I absolutely love photograhing family orientated weddings. As it so happens, Stacey and Grant’s 2 year son Riley’s birthday party took place at the same time as their wedding. Hence the lots of kids and beautiful mayhem. You will actually see Riley featured quite a bit throughout this wedding – he’s the one planking during Stacey and Grant’s first dance ?

There were so many beautiful and heartfelt moments to capture between Stacey, Grant and their beautiful family. I can’t possibly fit all of those moments into one blog post, but I hope these images will help you feel what it was like to be a part of Stacey and Grant’s fun filled, family orientated wedding.

Here’s the lovely review I received from Stacey and Grant:

“We just had to have Sam photograph our wedding and we actually chose our date based on his availability. Sam is an amazing photographer and works so hard to tell the story of your day and document all of the emotion and rawness. I have no words for the photos Sam captured for us. Every image tells a story and documents a special moment.

During the day Sam was so authentic, relaxed, confident and friendly, although we were very nervous and and we are normally super uncomfortable in front of the camera, Sam made us feel really relaxed and truly had such a fun time. He captured some amazing moments with all the kids at our wedding (there were 30 kids!) and he really understands how to work with kids! We even had farm animals and pony rides, nothing was too difficult or too hard for Sam.

I am so grateful that we had Sam capture our special day and that we have a HUGE gallery of images and beautiful slideshow that we will truly treasure for ever.”
