Lauren and Daz’s extremely rustic Tooraloo Farm Stay Wedding in Byron Bay was next level amazing! There is so much I could say about this gorgeous rustic wedding! But let me know start with that which truly makes a wedding, the people.

Lauren and Daz were a seriously amazing couple to photograph. They are kind and caring and aren’t afraid to show their emotions on their sleeve. And top to it off, both are ridiculously funny with a wicked sense of humour. Being adventurous souls, they are off now adventuring in the Phillipines on their honeymoon. As you’ll see from the photos, Lauren and Daz had an absolute ball together on their day and there were shits and giggles to be had throughout the entire day. They couldn’t have possibly made me feel more welcome to be a part of their special day.

Whilst I’m here I have to shout out a bit of venue love. Tooraloo Farm Stay Byron Bay is by far one of the best wedding venues I’ve ever photographed. Nestled right in the heart of Byron Bay with stunning views out to the Byron Hinterland, Tooraloo, with all its rustic vibes, was the absolute perfect venue for Lauren and Daz. Seeing pictures of the amazing fig trees and the rustic barn, I’d been super excited about this wedding for a long time. And boy oh boy did this venue deliver! To top it off, the owner, Jason, is an absolute legend who was extremely accommodating on the day and helped set up the lighting for the epic pool jump at the end of the night.

On a personal level something special happened to me that has never happened before. I came home to my beautiful wife Corinne and told her “I think I’ve just had the most enjoyable working day of my whole working life.” No exaggeration. That’s how amazing Lauren and Daz’s wedding was!

There’s so much more I could write about here. I could talk about the tequilla shots that were flowing towards the end of the evening (and I was no exception!), Lauren and Daz’s amazing DIY fairly light job, how the bride and groom took up spontaneously took up bartending throughout the evening, or the fact that we got followed by two sex crazed cows during the bridal party photos (true story). But I think you get the picture – a freakin amaaaaazing one of a kind wedding!!!

I’d absolutely love to come back and photograph another wedding at this amazing Byron Bay wedding venue.
