Gold Coast Wedding Photography – the ultimate photo location.
Samantha and Ian had their wedding photos in what I think the best coastal location along the whole Tweed/Gold Coast. With it’s stunning headland and pristine beaches, Fingal Head is the ultimate wedding photography location. Keep reading to find out more why I think you should consider having your wedding or engagement photos at Fingal Head.
·•· Diversity in locations.
One of the most important things I look for when helping choosing a location for couples photos is diversity. Having a variety of locations all easily accessible within the one area allows for a more visually interesting and engaging photo shoot. And with its stunning beaches, charming lighthouse, pandanus forests, volcanic chamber and headland views, Fingal Head is packed with a diversity of locations.
Don’t get me wrong, ultimately the most important aspect of a couple’s shoot is the love and connection between the couple. However, as someone who loves to incorporate landscapes into my wedding and engagement photography, Fingal ticks all the boxes.
·•· Stunning beaches.
Fingal Head has not one, but two stunning beaches on either side of the headland. I personally prefer the southern beach due to the views of the headland but the northern beach would make for stunning sunrise photos with Cook Island in the background.
·•· Drone friendly location.
Fingal Head sits right on the border of the restriction zone for flying drones. Personally, I think drones can add a whole other dimension to your wedding or engagements. Click here to view some of my drone images featuring couples.
·•· Amazing sunsets.
Fingal Head has views to really amazing sunsets! Especially from the headland, the way the light shines through the trees is stunning. During this particular shoot it felt like we were playing a game of hide and seek with the sun. I keep envisaging how amazing a wide angled sunset shot would look with a couple perched on the edge of the headland.
Fingal Head is easily accessible from both the Gold Coast and the Tweed Coast. Located only a 16 minute drive from Kingscliff and a 14 minute drive from Tweed Heads, this makes Fingal a very doable location for weddings at these two popular locations!
