Fingal Head Wedding Photographer
Weddings often don’t go to plan. In fact, they almost never do. I remember from Corinne and my wedding clearly. The PA system wasn’t working, the movie projector also decided not to work. There was also something to do with alcohol consumption as well. There were certainly some challenges we encountered.
I’m a big proponent of embracing the twists and turns of a wedding. Surrendering to what is beyond one’s control, and going with the direction the wedding day takes you. Well, like many couples this year, Courtney and Jasmine’s wedding turned out a little different than expected. With Covid restrictions restricting travel and dance floor action, Courtney and Jasmine had to downsize their wedding into a more intimate celebration. Originally going to be on a farm in Uki, their ceremony took place at Kingscliff Community Hall and later we ventured off the magical Fingal Head for some sunset photos. Despite the downsizing Courtney and Jasmine’s wedding was extremely moving and a wedding I won’t forget any time soon.
Byron Bay Wedding Photography
With Fingal Head being my absolute favourite coastal location I convinced them to get photos at this stunning location at sunset. It’s truly magical being on top of the headland. It feels like you can look out to the world and feel mother nature at its fullest!
I’d also previously been envisaging an off camera flash photograph at the Fingal Head lighthouse for the past few months and was itching to capture some newly weds at this location. I finally had the chance my opportunity with Courtney and Jasmine! Be sure to scroll to the end to see their stunning off camera flash portraits. (They look like fairies in an enchanted forest)! I hope you enjoy browsing through the images of this gorgeous couple.
