Have I previously mentioned I now offer elopement photography?
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Tash and James’ mini elopement. Like many of my couples, Tash and James’ special day had been affected by all the craziness that’s happening of late. But that didn’t stop them from having an insanely beautiful wedding day!
Tash and James were originally getting married at Ridgeview in the Hunter Valley before the world decided otherwise. Not wanting to put off their wedding date for who knows how long, Tash and James were still very keen to getting married close to their original date. They decided to have an intimate backyard elopement wedding with just a small few guests. After their ceremony we headed bush for what was a really fun, quirky and romantic photo shoot.
For their special day they had bought a tonne of dried flower petals and some candle lights. Given that they weren’t able to use them anymore, Tash and James decided to feature them in the photo shoot. It kind of felt like a trash the dress scenario but even better! And wow, the first photo in this series (featured above) is one of my favourite photos I’ve taken to date! Hopefully I can convince my future couples (you know who you are) to do something similar 😉
Thanks Tash and James for being an extremely awesome couple and being adventurous enough to try some of my ideas.
I hope everyone is taking care at the moment and looking after each other. Much love to you all! Sam xo
