As I’m writing this blog having just gone through the images from Angela and Cameron’s Alsace Polo wedding, I’m on such a massive high. I’d been waiting for such a long time to shoot at this epic new Brisbane – Gold Coast wedding venue. And boy oh boy, the wait definitely paid off!
Let me just say that Angela and Cameron are the nicest couple. They are warm, gentle and caring, yet fun and adventurous. I will always remember Angela as the bride who always sends me Facebook messages. (Yes, Facebook is still a thing!). And that’s good, for if it wasn’t for Angela’s messages I’d check my Facebook half as much as I currently do. Anyway….

When I rocked up to the bridal prep I was welcomed in the warmest way from Angela and her bridesmaids. However, it was pretty soon in the prep that I started to gauge how much of a wild bridal party I had on my hands. I knew then that the bridal party photos were going to be very lively. I love the fact that the bridal party cracked a couple of bottles of champers and went nuts. There are definitely some weddings traditions that come and go but I don’t think I’ll get tired of a good champagne shot.
I was super stoked to wake up the next morning and receive this lovely message from Angela:
“Thanks again for everything. You were so calm amongst all the drama and we are so grateful we had you capture our day. No idea how I kept it together yesterday but as I write these words and reflect on the moments…. the emotions creep in again. Your photography is incredible. We are so glad we choose you.”

All in all, this Alsace Polo wedding is definitely a highlight wedding for me and one I will never forget.
A special to my Maple & Mist who are my good friends and an amazing team of videographers I love to work with. The drone pic of the venue was taken by Mark which Maple kindly let me use. Another special mention to the celebrant Jacki from The Marrying Kind. Not only has she got an amazing undercut but she was a breeze to work with. Be sure to keep scrolling to view the entire list of amazing vendors for this wedding.
